Very nice place to bring your family to, where you have various shops and coffees to spend some money or some time.
You can really take some nice photos here, especially with all the beautiful landscape around it.
Everyone is very nice and they will answer any questions you have and help you anyway they can.
The prices are a little too high but besides that, it is a very wonderful place to go to.
Definitely going again.

Really beautiful town. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. The castle walls are open to the public and very cool to explore and walk on. There are no guard rails and the walls can be very narrow at points so be cautious. There is plenty of parking in front of the tourist center or the aqueduct.

One of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Portugal. Well maintained medieval castle village. Good for walking inside the village with many shopping and food options. Nice local traditional cherry liqueur drinks. The visitor may have a panoramic view of the castle by walking around the walls.

Enjoyed our walk through the small village. Walking the wall was fun, but there are no handrails and no barrier on the inside part of the walk. Rough stones so be careful. Try the local cherry liquor in a chocolate cup.

Magical historic place. Is one of the best places to get a glimpse of medieval Portugal. A must go!
