Super cool spot. Right next to the road and within walking distance from the train station. Bring snacks, drinks (remember to leave with them) if you intend to stay and people watch.

A very nice park with a river. The most interesting thing to experience here is the river surfing which is pretty unique. You can take a dip in the river on the sunnier days

I occasionally stop here when I’m cycling in the area. Amazing folks braving the ultra cold waters even in the middle of winter! Brrrr! I’ve read the community is fairly strict about who surfs here due to the strong under water currents. Surfers must be experienced and must be skilled enough to navigate around the rocks beneath the water level.

An man-made surfing spot for professionals, who are always there from morning to evenings. Hard to take eyes off them. Don’t forget to walk around the spacious and well-maintained garden/Park.

A very cool tourist attraction for anyone unaware about the surfing scene within Munich. During the whole year round you’ll be able to find people surfing on the perpetually generated waves from the river, no matter how cold it may be in the winter. If you’re nearby, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
