A lot of fun, try to avoid the lines by buying tickets ahead of time. It's a bit of a slow start, as you have to take the elevator to the top floor and then work your way down, but be patient because the wait is worth it. The fun is admiring how realistic the figures are and then taking silly pics, so if you don't have the attention span for that, this may not be the place for you. Feel free to bring water and make sure you wear comfy shoes, as there is a fair amount of walking to be done.

A little on the pricey side, but a great option for a rainy day. Madam Tussauds on 42nd street near Times Square in New York City offers everything you expect from a world renowned wax museum. Even Prince Harry is there! I found myself analogizing to various figures because I thought they were...real people!
It truly is amazing and if you can't meet the real people - you can (almost) fool your friends with these.

I came here on a school trip with 60 seniors and my coworkers. We ALL had a FABULOUS time...I'd even venture to say that the adults had a little more fun than the seniors. Security and staff were so helpful and really added to our overall experience. And the photographers really got GREAT shots! pics are not cheap....but so expertly done.

This was an awesome attraction. The replicas of celebrities and historical personalities were very convincing and offered a great way of making pictures with them that looked real. Fun for adults and kids and I recommend it as something fun to do on Manhattan island.

I have been a skeptic for a long time because it looked too touristy, but friends were in town and wanted to go. I was honestly surprised by it. It was cheesy at times, but for the most part it was just good fun. Every figure was set up in a fun way. There were tons of photo opportunities and some interactive things. The layout is nice because you wind your way through with signs showing you where to go so you know that you are not missing anything. Any group of friends could go in with an open mind and have a good time. I would highly recommend getting your tickets online, ahead of time. It is much easier.
