Rather large and empty till the last few rooms...a lot of waking. Fantastic library but you can only stand and stare at it from the entrance... shame..

Very beautiful palace with very poor information and legends. Could be improved and be more interactive. Except for an amazing lady that told us some curiosities and funny facts about the palace and the royal family, all the other people in the rooms are pretty static and quiet. However, it is still a magnificent monument, which I recommend everyone to visit.

Awesome place with lots to see and very cheap. Only paid 6 euros per adult. Definitely worth going.

When visiting Porto this Palace should be a must see on your list. We enjoyed walking the long halls, viewing the antique furniture and learning alittle bit of Portugal’s Royal history line. If you make it all the way through there is a very impressive library at the back that is mostly definitely worth the walk to see.

Monumental building. Has seen better days. Needs some serious restoration work. I was impressed by the dimensions regardless.
